Watch @Jupiter_Hadley play my latest game …and get mercilessly sucked into the void of space a few times! 😆🚀💀 Future spaceship captains: Remember to lock doors when discarding “cargo”! 🔒⚠
I completed the 48 hour compo game jam for #ldjam Ludum Dare 43, and I’m pretty proud of the result: Oxygen Levels Critical. It’s not the most fun game, and it has it’s fair share of glitches, but it has some entertaining elements to it IMO, and it was fun to work with the speech web API.

I’ve broken the development into multiple categories:
- essential gameplay
- non-critical (but pretty important)
- nice-to-have (not important but would improve gameplay)
- advanced (no chance I’ll get to these)
My js13k entry has been submitted and accepted. Try the game out (requires desktop/keyboard) and let me know if it’s a concept worth iterating on.

Can you save your civilization from the flood?
For those who are part of Ludum Dare, here is the entry page: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/deluge-of-doom and the compo version: http://deathraygames.com/play-online/deluge-of-doom/ld42/

Progress is not as fast as i hoped, but still aiming for having a playable game by the time i sleep tonight – which is better than I’ve done in many past ludum dares.
Good morning! I’m a little discouraged that the gameplay wasn’t finished yesterday so I’ve reworked the plan. Sadly artwork will likely get scrapped, so the lovely rectangle buildings will have to suffice. Time to properly flood…
